What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Gel Coat position at World Cat?
Summary: Skin and bulk parts per engineering instructions (SOPs.) Responsible for the quality of the parts laminated.
Area responsibilities:
- Follow all SOPs to deliver quality parts without rework.
- Work to meet efficiencies with the highest possible quality.
- Suit up with proper PPEs and be ready to start at the beginning of the shift.
- Keep your area clean and safe at all times.
- Report any inaccuracies in the glass and mill kits to the lead person or manager.
- Report any gel issues to lead person or manager.
- Responsible for keeping all tools clean and in good working condition.
- Be back from breaks and lunch on time and ready to start work.
- Report all accidents to manager or Human Resources.
- Perform any task asked by lead person or manager.
- Work overtime if needed to complete production.
- Complete your jobs each day and request assistance for any questions in the documentation
- Correct any line defects to eliminate repeat mistakes
- Request the proper tools to work efficiently
- Request Engineering Support to for clarity and simplifying processes
- Request Materials to provide parts with quality on-time and holds vendors accountable.

Produce ZERO defects (fix before leaving your area)
- Ensure the work area is clean and safe
- Ensure all tools & equipment working with proper settings
- Ensure all work instructions followed by all teammates
- Sign QA check sheet to verify product built to spec follow all documentation
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Able to follow documentation and SOP’s to build products to spec
- Intensive knowledge of all SOP’s and documentation for processes and equipment used in the work area
- Understand laminates and the SOPs for lamination.
- Need to be able to see and roll out air in laminates.
