World Central Kitchen (WCK) seeks a talented relationship builder to fill the role of Manager, Corporate Partnerships. This position will report to the Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations and is expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset and play a key role in building and strengthening our partnerships with companies, foundations, and their employees. This role will drive innovative collaborations that advance our work and mission. Corporate and Foundation revenue comprises about a quarter of our revenue each year.

This role requires a sincere commitment to WCK’s mission, the proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position is intended to be based in Washington DC, with 2-3 days on-site per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of active and prospective corporate and private foundation donors, with a focus on securing major gifts from Fortune 500 companies. This will involve conducting outreach through phone and video conversations, as well as in-person meetings, to deepen engagement and secure sustained support.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize innovative cause marketing campaigns that engage corporate partners in meaningful ways, align with their brand and social impact goals, and drive visibility and revenue for WCK. This includes identifying creative partnership opportunities and collaborating cross-functionally to bring campaigns to life.   • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Development to prepare and personalize written communications, including letters of inquiry, grant proposals, reports, decks, and periodic impact updates. Manage deadlines for all proposals and reports and maintain meticulous records in the CRM to track.
  • Achieve monthly cultivation, solicitation and stewardship targets and keep timely engagement records in Salesforce.
  • Expand the universe of foundations and corporations that fund WCK by identifying prospective donors, cultivating relationships via outreach and events, and determining the right time to ask for support.
  • Integrate foundations and corporations into key moments throughout the year based on WCK’s calendar and the institutions calendar, primarily through campaigns.
  • Build out a model of employee engagement that includes in-person or virtual learning sessions to provide deeper knowledge of our work, impact, and ways to get involved.
  • Identify and secure in-kind gifts to support relief efforts .
  • The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience managing a book of business, building relationships with key decision-makers, and cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation major gifts.Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative campaigns and engagement opportunities that align corporate partners’ goals with the WCK’s mission, driving both revenue and meaningful impact.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Demonstrates agility in responding to urgent needs and is able to  pivot to disaster response mode when necessary.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Keynote or PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a CRM, ideally with Salesforce.
  • Occasional travel up to 25%

Preferred candidates will also have previous experience working in a fundraising, development, or an operations environment, experience coordinating with outside vendors, and multicultural experience.
