Urgent Contract Job Posting: Drivers Needed for Hurricane Helene Relief with World Central Kitchen!

Location: Servicing Pinellas & Manatee Counties, Florida

Contract Duration: 2 - 4 Weeks

Pay: Daily Rates

World Central Kitchen is urgently seeking six (6) dedicated drivers to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts in Florida. This critical operation will begin as soon as tomorrow and may last anywhere from two (2) to four (4) weeks, depending on the relief needs.

Position Details:

• Contract Role: Relief Driver
• Start Date: Immediate, starting as soon as tomorrow, Oct 4, 2024
• Duration: 2 - 4 weeks
• Location: Various locations in Florida affected by Hurricane Helene
• Compensation: Day rates based on experience and vehicle availability
  
  

**Additional compensation for drivers who can provide their own vehicle/truck (sprinter van, or box truck)**

Responsibilities:

• Transport essential supplies and personnel to designated locations
• Maintain communication with coordination team
• Ensure the safety and security of all transported goods
• Provide assistance in organizing and distributing supplies as needed

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (DL) and/or Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Own van preferred but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all traffic laws
