What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Trial Litigation Paralegal position at World Championships Organizing Committee, Inc?
Only applicants who have experience organizing several thousands pages of documents and presenting those documents to a jury in court will be considered
Responsibilities:
-Manage documents and exhibits in the courtroom in front of a jury during trials (experience required)
- Conduct legal research and analysis using various resources such as ChatGPT, Lexis-Nexis, and Westlaw.
- Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Review and analyze documents for relevance and privilege in preparation for litigation.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and witness lists.
- Attend court hearings and trials to provide support to attorneys.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
- Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources, such as ChatGPT, Lexis-Nexis, and Westlaw.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and writing.
- Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.
