The Operations Manager manages and coordinates the plant operational processes to ensure compliance with Company objectives, quality systems, and customer expectations. This position supervises and coordinates day-to-day activities of manufacturing functions, maintenance, engineering, and support staff.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, its employees, and scheduling.
- Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization with functional departments throughout the facility.
- Keep the Chief Executive Officer informed of the Company’s performance and provide advice on operational matters.
- Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals.
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and quality standards.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Manage production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
- Assume other special activities and responsibilities as directed by Chief Executive Officer.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, business, or a combination of proven experience and success within a similar role.
- Strengths in communications, interpersonal skills, confidentiality, careful attention to detail and organization, self-starting, and dependable.
- Proven skills in leadership and supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of lead manufacturing principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software required.
Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to a dry, well-lit work environment. No extreme temperatures (<32F or >110F). No vibratory exposure per day. No extremes in audiometric exposure (>80 Decibels). No known air quality issues in facility.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
