Responsibilities
- Safely deliver and restock products to assigned micro-markets and vending locations on a designated route.
- Ensure that product displays are neat, organized, and fully stocked to meet customer needs.
- Monitor inventory levels at each location, recording usage and restocking as necessary.
- Clean and maintain micro-markets, vending machines, and related equipment to ensure they are presentable and functional.
- Collect payments or verify invoices as required and secure funds appropriately.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
- Conduct routine checks on vending machines and report any malfunctions or service issues.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate records of route activities, including deliveries, collections, and inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during driving and while on customer premises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in route driving, delivery, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively while on the route.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Comfortable using route planning tools, GPS, or similar technology.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
