Job Responsibilities
Order Entry Duties:
- Accurately enter customer orders into the company’s ERP or order management system.
- Verify order details, pricing, and availability before processing.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and customer interactions.
- Work closely with the warehouse and shipping departments to resolve any order discrepancies.
Customer Service Duties:
- Provide professional and courteous customer support via phone, email, and chat.
- Assist customers with order inquiries, product availability, shipping details, and general questions.
- Handle customer complaints or issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information.
- Proactively follow up with customers regarding orders, backorders, and returns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or a related administrative role is a benefit
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP or CRM software.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
