We are currently seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to manage procurement and shipping logistics, ensuring smooth operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Job Responsibilities
Purchasing Duties:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and products from approved suppliers.
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability.
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain developments.
Logistics Duties:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Work closely with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping costs and delivery timelines.
- Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers as needed.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient handling and storage of incoming materials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or logistics is a plus
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP or inventory management software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to logistics challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in supply chain management is a plus.
