The World Equestrian Center, located in Ocala Florida is seeking an Accountant to join our team.
The Accountant will perform and manage the accounting for all sales, receivables and funds receipts for the World Equestrian Center. The ideal candidate for this role will have an eye for attention to detail along with the ability and drive to do a complete and comprehensive analysis of every bank transaction.

The Accountant will perform and manage the accounting for all sales, receivables and funds receipts for the World Equestrian Center. Primary Responsibilities
- Complete account reconciliation of all sales to customers and vendors and funds related to accounts receivable.
- Preparing and distributing outstanding statements, bank details to customers, vendors, accounting team and business partners.
- Reconciling balance Sheet Accounts with supporting documentation.
- Work with the team to implement new sales, payments and account reconciliation technology leading systems.
- Maintaining the integrity and consistency of the General Ledger to include balancing of all cash and A/R related accounts.
- Work directly with sales and accounting team to maintain and track all payments from customers and vendors.
- Initiative to automate and drive efficiencies in the account reconciliation process and work with the team to automatically interface sales, bank and general ledger transactions.
- Calculating, reviewing, and posting Journal Entries to include Standard, Reversal and Adjusting entries.
- Maintaining controlled access to company shared networks through third parties.
- Managing and executing the Accounting Continuous Improvement Process and Development plan.
- Performing all duties and special projects assigned by Controller and Director of Finance.

- Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Bachelor of Science degree with major or concentration in Accounting from an accredited university or equivalent of experience.
- Entry level position with 1 to 3 years of experience as an accountant preferred.
- Working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems.
- Well-developed participatory teamwork and administrative skills.
- Well organized with strong analytical and reasoning abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills.
