The Cook III position is an entry-level role responsible for basic food preparation tasks. The individual in this role works under close supervision and follows established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of food.

Essential Functions
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to recipes and standards.
- Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, peeling, and washing vegetables, and
- preparing simple dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 50lbs
- Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours
- Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop,
- kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Associate must talk and hear
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
