Cook I - Filo's FT

The Cook I position is an intermediate-level role responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with moderate supervision. The individual in this role demonstrates a higher level of culinary skill and knowledge, contributing to the kitchen operations.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to recipes and standards.
• Assist the team with daily tasks.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Participate in kitchen cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, And Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training preferred.
• 2 years of professional cooking experience.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary
• terminology.
• Ability to follow and adapt recipes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
