The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems.

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip systems, and valves.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in irrigation systems to determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct system checks and adjustments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as pipes, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads.
- Test irrigation systems and perform adjustments to optimize water coverage and reduce waste.
- Set timers, adjust sprinkler heads, and calibrate irrigation systems to ensure even water distribution.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on systems to avoid costly repairs.
- Work with clients to understand irrigation needs and recommend solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including repairs, installations, and system assessments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field

- Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in irrigation technology is a plus.
- Proven experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of various irrigation methods and water-saving techniques.
- Ability to diagnose and repair system malfunctions effectively.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in irrigation installation and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
