General Description
Provide support to small business unit Client Managers and Client Advisors, primarily handling a high volume of micro accounts generating less than $7,500 in commissions.
- Obtains renewals from General Agent and/or Carrier.
- Prepares pre-renewal / renewal letters for delivery to clients.
- Prepares compensation disclosure notices, where applicable
- Maintain accurate client and team information and documentation in agency management systems.
- May assist with enrollment and billing issues, as needed.
- May respond to questions related to small group health insurance certification to verify eligibility for health insurance plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Prior customer service experience and insurance industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
- High School Graduate, 4-year college degree preferred.
- BenefitPoint knowledge a plus but not required.
- Must currently hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.
- Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
- Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.
- Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs as well as knowledge of Microsoft office products.
