Implementation Specialist - Benefits Administration Technology

Using the UKG Ready platform WPHR provides payroll and tax outsourcing services to clients, including processing payroll throughout the year, tax filing and payment services, quarter and year-end coordination and administration and more. Our add on HR packages, provides clients with access to Benefits Administration, Leave Administration, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management technology solutions and the HR expertise to provide ongoing support to clients on an outsourced basis. WPHR services small and middle market companies throughout the United States.
Job Summary:
The UKG Ready HR Implementation Specialist is responsible for implementing, configuring, and testing various employee benefits administration systems for our clients, with a primary focus on Everything Benefits from UKG. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, and third-party vendors. The Benefits Administration Implementation Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition on to the platform of choice and providing ongoing support to clients.

This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, and third-party vendors. The Benefits Administration Implementation Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition on to the platform of choice and providing ongoing support to clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with clients, brokers, and third-party carriers/vendors to gather requirements for a successful implementation.
- Configure and implement employee benefits administration technology solutions.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance on the implemented system to ensure they are working correctly.
- Train clients on the use of the benefits administration software and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to benefits administration technology solutions, working with insurance carriers, third party vendors, and internal teams as necessary.
- Project manage with brokers and clients’ necessary steps to set up applicable EDI connections at implementations and renewals.
- Plan and support all renewals and system updates with client’s benefits administration technology.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in the benefits administration technology space.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in an implementation or consulting role.
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration software and systems, such as Employee Navigator, EASE, and ADP, with preferred experience with Everything Benefits.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, insurance carriers, third party vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
