I. Position Summary


World Monuments Fund (WMF) is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Programs Coordinator to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, international programs department that delivers a wide variety of cultural heritage projects around the world. Reporting to the Vice President of Programs and the Senior Director of Field Projects, the Programs Coordinator supports the efficient functioning of the Programs Department and works closely with multiple members of the team. The successful candidate will be an energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. This position plays a key role in supporting the goals and priorities of the Programs Department, ensuring the successful administration of a large portfolio of international projects.


II. Responsibilities 


  • Support the Vice President of Programs and Senior Director of Field Projects by scheduling internal and external meetings and travel, tracking expenses, and managing communications with the Programs team
  • Coordinate the development, review, and approval of project agreements, consultant contracts, and quarterly reports in close collaboration with Programs team and relevant departments
  • Ensure efficient processing of payments in coordination with Finance, tracking associated expenditures and cross-referencing invoice amounts and deliverables with executed contracts
  • Collaborate with Coordinator, Institutional Giving to compile all required information for project proposals and required donor reports, in coordination with Programs staff
  • Schedule Programs team meetings, working with staff to set the agenda, take minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Collaborate with the Programs Administrative team and other departments to plan and execute organization-wide meetings
  • Conduct research and develop reports on Programs operations
  • Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations and various meeting materials
  • Monitor Vice President and general email inbox and coordinate responses to general inquiries


III. Qualifications 


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred major in Area Studies, Archaeology, Art History or International Affairs)
  • 2-3 years of experience in administration, project management or similar office environment
  • Computer fluency in Microsoft environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience preparing presentations desired
  • Graduate degree and familiarity with the heritage sector are a plus

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with international colleagues and develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the organization and beyond
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work gracefully under pressure
  • Proficiency in another language highly desirable

V. Salary and Benefits 


The World Monuments Fund offers a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including paid time off, wellness and sick time off, holiday time off, and a multitude of other insurance benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a fully comprehensive retirement plan.

The annual salary for the role is anticipated to range from $62,500 - $65,000, commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
