Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy to between 25 and 30 clients as well as optional couples and family psychotherapy
- Develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed therapy.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients as needed
- Specialize in working with individuals with PTSD, and other mental health conditions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of psychotherapy
Requirements:
- Master's in psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Valid license to practice as a psychotherapist in the state of Texas
- Experience working with trauma and individuals with PTSD
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills
