ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:

World Relief Chicago is looking for a part-time Technology Support Trainer to provide support to students in its Adult Education programming.  Key responsibilities include facilitating online and in-person technology orientations and trainings, coordinating technology device lending, and maintaining and updating of devices. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can instruct others on the use of technology devices and software, this role may be a good fit for you.   

• Provide in-person and online technology/digital literacy orientations, trainings, workshops, and assistance for adult learners 
• Distribute, collect, renew, update, and maintain technology devices 
• Travel to the homes of students to provide services and retrieve devices as needed 
• Enforce program policies and procedures
• Assist with the creation of technology orientation and registration resources 
• Document and review program data 
• Research solutions to problems that arise related to the use of technology and software 
• Utilize online software to help maintain and organize online learning accounts
• Provide clear and timely communication with staff, students, and community partners
• Complete all required professional development 
• Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

• Prior knowledge and ability in common technology and digital literacy skills (using iPads, apps, Zoom, MS Excel and Forms, Google Suite, etc.) 
• Ability to travel to and from adult learner homes in Chicago and the near-north suburbs 
• Ability to flex hours to occasionally work evenings
