ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief Chicago is looking for a part-time Technology Support Trainer to provide support to students in its Adult Education programming. Key responsibilities include facilitating online and in-person technology orientations and trainings, coordinating technology device lending, and maintaining and updating of devices. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can instruct others on the use of technology devices and software, this role may be a good fit for you.
\n- Provide in-person and online technology/digital literacy orientations, trainings, workshops, and assistance for adult learners
- Distribute, collect, renew, update, and maintain technology devices
- Travel to the homes of students to provide services and retrieve devices as needed
- Enforce program policies and procedures
- Assist with the creation of technology orientation and registration resources
- Document and review program data
- Research solutions to problems that arise related to the use of technology and software
- Utilize online software to help maintain and organize online learning accounts
- Provide clear and timely communication with staff, students, and community partners
- Complete all required professional development
- Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled
- Other duties as assigned

- Prior knowledge and ability in common technology and digital literacy skills (using iPads, apps, Zoom, MS Excel and Forms, Google Suite, etc.)
- Ability to travel to and from adult learner homes in Chicago and the near-north suburbs
- Ability to flex hours to occasionally work evenings
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time
