Warehouse Manager – Granite Warehouse

Job Summary:
Seeking Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations in our granite warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, warehouse management experience, and knowledge of handling stone slabs and related materials. This role involves ensuring efficiency, safety, and organization while managing inventory, logistics, and a team of warehouse employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping granite and other materials.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and optimize stock organization.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, ensure proper handling of heavy materials, and conduct safety training.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and cutting tools.
- Logistics Coordination: Work with drivers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials upon arrival and before shipment to ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Warehouse experience, preferably in the stone or construction industry.
- Experience handling granite, quartz, marble, or similar materials is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
