What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warranty Technician position at World Stone?
We are currently hiring for a warranty tech. This person will travel to new or existing houses to fix issues with installed counter tops. On site tasks can include polishing, filling with color-matched glue, reworking seams, re-sealing, removing stains, and more. Additionally this role will have to effectively communicate with home owners to educated them on their tops. This is a hands on role and will require traveling daily to various locations in a company provided vehicle. Qualified candidates have the follow skills:
- Hands on experience working with granite and quartz counter tops.
- Experience working with small hand tools in a similar field, ie carpentry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- An aptitude and willingness to learn granite repair best practices.
- Clean driving record.
We are not necessarily looking for someone with previous experience in the granite/quartz business. We will provide extensive training both in our shop and at job sites with our current techs.
