Job Description
World Travel, Inc. is seeking a skilled HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in recruitment and guiding candidates through the hiring process, along with expertise in general HR functions such as compliance, employee relations, and onboarding. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
You will act as a champion for the company culture and will support the company’s executives and Senior Leadership Team as a trusted advisor and proactive participant.
Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve meaningful annual goals. You and your leadership team will work together to set your goals. Your performance will be reviewed on a regular basis, and no less than four times a year, through a series of meaningful one-on-one conferences or “focus meetings” with your immediate supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings and interviewing to onboarding and orientation, ensuring every new hire aligns with our culture and values.
- Job Description Maintenance. Maintaining current job descriptions and salary band data.
- Employee Records: Create and maintain personnel file as well as on-going credential files for staff and enter new employees into HRIS.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment that reflects our family-like culture.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to HR practices, including safety protocols, labor laws, and employee documentation.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years in human resources or a similar role, with experience in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
