Job Title – Interior Design Sales Consultant
Job Description:
The Sales and Design Manager is a critical leadership role with World Wide Granite and is key to the long term success of the business. This position will report directly to ownership and coordinate with the operations manager and team. This position will be responsible for assisting customers and contractor partners through the countertop, tile, and cabinet design, selection, and sales process, generating revenue for the company through effective sales and marketing efforts. The right candidate will have a key eye for interior design, a pulse on the trends, and be excellent at developing and nurturing partner relationships. They will also possess the ability to multitask as procuring production materials, maintaining contract records, assisting in scheduling work, and other functions as needed will be required of the role. . Job Responsibilities
Sales/Design
- Support customers with design guidance, material selection, and education for their stone and tile projects.
- Seek out and develop relationships and partnerships with new contractor and design partners.
- Provide clear communication to customers and operations team regarding customer selections, requests, and change orders.
- Utilize company systems including Moraware to track leads, follow ups, orders, and customer requests through the sales process.
- Gather competitive intelligence where possible to drive our understanding of the competition and develop tactics against the competition.
- Identify ways to create additional efficiency in our sales and operations.
Administration
- Secure and maintain signed contracts including lien forms, process change orders, and other customer documentation for safe record keeping.
- Order material from suppliers for upcoming projects, provide notations in Moraware relating to delivery dates, and provide materials cost/invoice data to ownership at time of sale.
- Assist in maintaining schedule in Google Calendar and communicate with ownership and operations on scheduling and needs.
- Maintain a working list of company owned slab inventory, cost, and pricing.
- Maintain a folder on company drive that includes price lists, and vendor contacts. These should be updated as changes occur.
- Maintain a list of slab and tile suppliers including rep name and contact information. These should be updated as changes occur.
General
- Adhere to company policies, processes, and financial controls.
- Demonstrate positive leadership by maintaining a growth mindset, openness to change, and positive attitude.
- Partner with ownership and operations to review personnel, safety, sales, or other needs as needed.
