Qualifications:
- 5 years as a Cloud Architect
- 10 years of experience in configuring and managing software/infrastructure deployments.
- Any degrees from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Solutions Architect and Security specialty certification(s) from GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- CCSP, CCSK certifications a plus
- Experience with Cloud-Native Security tools.
- Experience architecting and integrating 3rd party cloud security, posture management and monitoring tools.
- Experience with two or more public cloud providers
- In-depth knowledge of the CNAPP market and how to integrate the technology into an overall security program.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and at what stages security should be introduced.
- Experience working with server virtualization, IaaS, PaaS and cloud environments
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, monitoring and metric technologies
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of how CI/CD tooling informs and influences a larger security framework.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-native security solutions.
- Deep understanding of the core tenets of a secure cloud environment.
- Capable of developing secure cloud and application workload architectures.

What will you be doing?
The Technical Solutions Architect II in this role will be the SME for Cloud Security within our Workload Security team that builds and evangelizes modern security processes and tooling that support WWTs Cloud Security Framework.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a self-driven and motivated team player to help other team members and our customers overcome challenges to drive secure outcomes that transform security teams with modern approaches to risk and compliance.
- Develop and promote best practices for security of, in and through software-defined environments.
- Produce tactical solutions and strategic frameworks that address security in software-defined hosting platforms.
- Assist clients in building and adopting secure cloud workload delivery approaches to accelerate attestation and compliance across their cloud footprint.
- Make recommendations for building new infrastructure and improving existing architecture.
- Help implement and adopt new technologies for future deployment.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and mentorship to peers as required.
- Simplify messaging and assist in vendor enablement for field sales teams.
- Create functional multi-vendor architectures and solutions.
- Engage in thought leadership activities: event speaking, blog posts, podcasts, conference attendance.
- Stay up to date on Cloud Security approaches, supporting technologies, trends, standards, and best practices.
- Help create proposals and presentations aligned with account teams and vendors.
- Maintain relationships as the go-to Cloud Security advisor for WWT clients.
- Learn, Understand and Evangelize WWT's differentiators.
- Familiarize WWT account teams with Cloud Security solutions and provide practice messaging updates regularly.
- Participate in the design & buildout of labs in our ATC
- Define POC and Customer Engagement guidelines.
