Qualifications:
- Requires Associates degree or equivalent experience and meaningful experience.

We are looking for a Production Technician II to join our team!

Our partnership allows AT&T to do what they do best by engineering and architecting the solution, while WWT provides the hands-on assembling and distribution of the integrated solution. Our Lab team provides top of the line support with the production and deployment of the Walk in Cabinets (WIC), Walk Up Cabinets (WUC), Integration Services, Platforms, FLX21 group, and assisting on handheld devices as well as recertification of smaller components, functional items, and radios.
Job Summary:
Performs tasks related to building and cabling racks and cabinets. Performs tasks related to building cabinets and cabling racks. Basic installation of equipment in racking, demonstrating the ability to follow rack elevation documentation. Ability to perform tasks with no supervision or training. Will need to validate the physical and systematic processing of material while being able to record quality transactions representing work as well as physical audit of equipment and accessories. This position reports to a Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate equipment per build specifications into network, server racks and/or cabinets
- Perform labeling based on customer requirements
- Knowledge on the proper use of manual and power tools
- Troubleshoot installation of hardware
- Route and manage advanced, end-to-end copper, fiber cables, and AC/DC power run
- Read and understand wiring diagrams and installation instructions
- Create and apply device and cable labels for a wide variety of equipment
- Complete and submit paperwork (forms, checklists, etc.) according to company policies and procedures
- Read engineering drawings such as rack elevations and cable run list schematics, detailing all in-rack connections (Example: power, data networking and storage)
- Troubleshoot and fix complex errors across multiple platforms of work
- Working knowledge and application of AC/DC Power
- Perform cable management and connect devices (power and logical connections where applicable)
- Ensure compliance with established codes, regulations, and standards
- Addition or removal of non-powered or passive equipment
- Execute work to customer-defined requirement
- Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories
- Confirm hardware is functional & troubleshoot as pertain to work performed
- Ability to train other team members on the above tasks in accordance with WWT standards.
