What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager - Army Enterprise position at World Wide Technology?
As a Business Development Manager, you will be managing one or more Army Enterprise accounts focused on driving Strategic Programs. You will be a crucial part of the team responsible for driving mission critical IT solutions to our nation’s Government. We seek to provide the Federal Government with innovative and simplified solutions that enable the Agency objectives.
What will you be doing?
This individual’s focus will be on identifying and capturing large Enterprise programs while working in partnership with a talented Sales and Engineering Team to expand WWT’s footprint of solutions and services capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Executive/Sr. level meetings with customers to gain a detailed understanding of their business and operational needs
- Demonstrate WWTs value proposition and differentiation effectively to technical and business/operational audiences
- Lead the development of opportunity assessment to build a qualified pipeline focused on WWT’s core competencies and differentiators
- Conduct architecture and technical briefings providing customers case studies and application of our leading capabilities to solve their concerns.
- Organize WWT experts in infrastructure modernization, multi-cloud architecture, security, digital transformation and application development to provide detailed discussions on these subjects to customer.
- Develop a thorough understanding of WWT’s Advanced Technology Center, Integration Technology Center and Asynchrony Labs capabilities and effective working relationships with leaders in these areas to represent the full WWT value proposition to customers
- Work cross functionally with WWT teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery
- Provides leadership and vision, while being a contributing, inspiring member of the team of resources focused on achieving business outcomes
- Business acumen to identify business needs and opportunities, and the problem-solving skills to achieve them through technological and organizational innovation
- Foster relationships and collaborate with our Subject Matter Experts and Account Teams to define account strategy and deliver the right approach for our clients.
Qualifications:
- 10 years Industry experience in strategic business development/sales
- In depth knowledge and experience with systems integrators that support or operate within the US. Army PEO- EIS community required
- Experience and knowledge operating within the PEO-EIS community preferred
- Proven success in creating business/organizational outcomes
- Excellent written & oral presentation skills
- Trusted Advisor status within the Federal Community
- Active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance highly preferred.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
