World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Data Center Engineer to support our client at the location Lebanon, IN (Onsite).
Title: Data Center Engineer
Location: Lebanon, IN (Onsite)
Duration/Type of Job: 3 Months
Required Skills:
- General knowledge of UPS systems, PDUs, and one-line electrical drawings
- General knowledge of Data Center HVAC (in-row coolers with condensers outside, Energy Recovery Ventilator operation, dehumidifiers)
- How to operate an electrical transfer switch (kick over to genset manually)
- Knowledge about how environmental/external factors affect IT equipment, and knock-on effects of a failure (i.e. if we lose 1 power feed, what will IT gear see?)
- High level knowledge of cabling types (copper vs fiber, subtypes of fiber) and connection types
- OSHA 10 certification is required by Client to enter active construction, OSHA 30 is required by Client to escort others into active construction sites
- How to interpret environmental monitoring values
- Experience with facility monitoring preferred
