Data Center Technician

Deploys data center-related end-to-end technologies. Monitors, tests, capacity plans, preventive maintenance, repairs of data center equipment and associated electrical, alarms, and monitors systems per vendor specifications at the enterprise data centers.
- Performs hardware installation & decommission of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure
- Troubleshoots and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructure
- Racks and stacks of data center equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, monitoring systems and other equipment
- Racks installation includes putting racks in place, cables, power up and hand off of servers to internal provisioning teams
- Monitors of data center environments using monitoring tools
- Documents and modifies standard operating procedures for the data center
- Supports the inventory process by keeping track of order replacement parts and return failed parts as required
- Installs structured cabling, performs labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber, copper, and telecom cables
- Manages system power supply and ensures uninterrupted power supply inside the data center
