What will you be doing?
The Network Engineer will support new user account creation and day-to-day administrative tasks. Duties and responsibilities involve the patching and updating of Cisco Network devices, administration of Windows servers, Windows workstations, VDI clients, File & Print servers, shared folders, Exchange, SharePoint, low to high file transfers, analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies, and ensuring optimal user experience. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to manage projects and upgrades and have a basic understanding of LAN Networking (VLANs, DNS and DHCP).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The candidate should have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Perform Windows system administrative support to include account management, file restoration, installing software, monitoring Service Desk phones, chat and other ticket queues, and assisting users on a daily basis.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, and VDI clients remotely.
- Administer Active directory accounts, password, profiles and permissions per standard operating procedures.
- Perform technical modifications, group policy, and configuration changes per standard operating procedures on a regular basis.
- Install/uninstall computer hardware components to include internal and peripheral devices, memory chips, video cards, hard drives, printers, network interface cards, media converters and other peripheral devices.
- The candidate should at a minimum possess knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2012/2016 Server, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016, Active Directory, and VMWare (ESXi and Horizons).
- Automate network changes on across various vendor platforms and Azure Cloud
- Provide inputs to the design of the enterprise’s network and mission architecture
- Evaluate network architectures across platforms to ensure alignment to cloud and network modernization strategies, capabilities and requirement sets

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent experience
- 10 years' experience in the Information Technology field
- Active TSSCI clearance w/ CI Poly
- Security CE or equivalent required (8570M compliant)
- Knowledge of VMWare Horizon View and VDI
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 Server
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016, Active Directory, and associated server and workstation hardware.
- Knowledge of Dell VxRail
- Knowledge of Cisco network devices and Cisco IOS
- Understanding of networking in the areas of LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, proxies, routing (L2/L3), firewalls and software defined networking
- Experience implementing dual-stack networking to use both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses simultaneously
- Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA
- Working knowledge of data backups, and antivirus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010/2016, Microsoft SQL 2008/2014/2016
- Experience with creating and deploying workstation images
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications is a plus but can be waived with experience or comparable certification
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network Certifications
- Must be able to lift to 20 lbs.
