We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Resource preferably with knowledge in Vertex to join our dynamic IT Financial Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, with a particular focus on integrating and optimizing Vertex tax solutions within the ERP environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Resource preferably with knowledge in Vertex to join our dynamic IT Financial Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, with a particular focus on integrating and optimizing Vertex tax solutions within the ERP environment.
As an Oracle Analyst - Financial Operations, you will perform the following duties:
- Analyze and develop financial applications and procedures in the design, implementation, and configuration of Oracle Financial Cloud ERP Applications for our global corporate services business for the Order-to-cash cycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to tax calculation, reporting, and compliance.
- Design and implement Vertex and Fusion tax solutions within the Oracle Cloud ERP environment, including configuration of tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of tax calculations within the ERP system.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Cloud ERP applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Vertex integration.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors, to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud ERP and Vertex solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle Cloud ERP and Vertex tax solutions, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Assist with training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams as needed.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and solutions to enhance the functionality and performance of Oracle Cloud ERP and Vertex tax integration.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of policies, procedures, and standards related to Oracle Cloud ERP and tax compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of analyst, development, and/or consultant experience with ERP Applications, Oracle EBS and Vertex (Cloud experience a plus)
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Finance and accounting business process knowledge.
- Complex SQL (reading and interpreting)
- Relational database understanding is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both technical and non-technical audiences are required
- Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business, Accounting MIS, or a technical-related field
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
- Professional and self-motivated
- Assist with training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams as needed.
