World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Senior Google Cloud Platform Network Engineer to support our client at the location Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid).
Title: Senior Google Cloud Platform Network Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN Hybrid (Must be on-site 3 days a week)

Job Description:
As a Google Cloud Platform Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing Google Cloud networking solutions to support enterprise-scale cloud modernization initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network architecture, security, and performance align with best practices for Life Sciences services environments.
Required Skills:
- 7 years of experience in cloud networking, infrastructure automation, or cloud platform engineering.
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, BGP, subnetting, VLANs, and firewall management.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform networking services, including VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud NAT, and Load Balancing.
- Expertise in Terraform (must-have) for automating cloud network infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Istio (nice to have) for service networking.
- Knowledge of network security best practices, including firewall configurations, IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
- Experience in a Life Sciences services environment is preferred, with an understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing complex network and routing issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain networking concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
