What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Systems Engineer position at World Wide Technology?
QUALIFICATIONS :
BA / BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work / military experience.
8 years of relevant systems engineering experience.
Extensive experience with Linux system administration.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Familiarity with Helm charts for Kubernetes package management.
Strong skills in automation of system processes and tasks.
Desired Skills :
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, and XenServer / XCP-ng.
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, and Capsule technologies.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
Experience with Ceph storage solutions.
Familiarity with GitLab for version control and CI / CD.
Clearance Requirements
- Active TS / SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly
