World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Systems Administrator.
Position: Systems Administrator
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule during contract. Will need to be local to either Las Vegas, NV; Reno, NV; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Omaha, NE; Des Moines, IA; Sioux City, IA; or Davenport, IA
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:
- This role involves day-to-day administration, support, and development of technical skills in SolarWinds HCO and BMC Discovery. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and technically savvy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks in SolarWinds HCO, including adding, removing, and clearing support tickets.
- Support and maintain CA Broadcom in the CIP environment, handling add/remove tasks.
- Assist with the discovery process, focusing on SolarWinds and BMC Discovery.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, including the NOC and node owners.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding and support processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SolarWinds HCO and BMC Discovery.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal customers.
- Experience with container platforms and knowledge of integrating them into monitoring and discovery is a plus.
