What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Business Development position at WorldLink Medical?
The Director of Business Development will oversee strategy, program development, operations and community organization. This would apply internally to Worldlink Medical as an organization but also the development of the community business unit designed to help providers transition and grow their medical practice. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with the Marketing Manager in prioritizing marketing resources as part of the business development strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions
Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of WLM initiatives and revenue generating endeavors
- Develop public relations strategies to facilitate growth and name recognition
- Develop and execute a strategy for a strong business unit that helps providers transition and grow and medical practice
- Create roadmaps and resources for their success to include vetting outside business relationships in addition to creating internal content and resources.
- Develop Performance Metrics to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goal to increase revenue for concierge based clinical practices
- Develop and manage a budget for this new service line.
- Build a sales process with success metrics for qualified leads and conversions.
- Identify and develop multiple business model recommendations for healthcare
providers. This should be based on current success models in existence today.
Program Development
- Participate, identify and execute on additional revenue streams and areas for expansion
- Harvest the expertise of the community by developing sub committees to further movements that facilitate changes in healthcare paradigms
- Assist with pricing strategies and proposals for training programs
- Develop external relationships that foster our growth, expansion and name recognition
Operations
- Process Improvement: Implement continuous process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including medical professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to align objectives and drive initiatives.
- Report on sales metrics, pipeline development and revenue forecasting to executive leadership
Community Organization
- Evaluate community resources and engagement activity and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop KPI for community success
- Evaluate software updates and determine implementation strategy and necessity.
