We are looking for a Celonis Engineer II to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.

As a Celonis Engineer, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers and business stakeholders, gaining valuable hands-on experience in Celonis Execution Management System (EMS) and the broader field of process mining.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team that will empower you to learn, grow, and make a direct impact on business performance by turning data insights into actionable process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Mining & Analysis

• Assist in discovering, analyzing, and improving business processes using Celonis EMS.
• Learn and apply tools like Variant Explorer, Conformance Checker, and Process Simulation to identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, automation potential, and process conformance to find opportunities for improvement.

Process Mining & Celonis EMS Skills:

• Celonis Execution Management System (EMS): Hands-on knowledge of the core components of Celonis EMS, including process discovery, process visualization, and performance analysis.
• Variant Explorer: Understanding of process variant analysis to identify and compare different process execution paths.
• Conformance Checker: Ability to use this tool for checking compliance between the actual process and predefined models or standards.
• Process Simulation: Knowledge of simulating potential process changes and measuring their impact on performance and efficiency.
• Process Intelligence: Leveraging data to analyze and optimize business processes for better operational performance.

Data Integration & Transformation

• Support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Oracle into Celonis EMS.
• Assist with writing SQL queries and help with data preprocessing tasks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Gain experience in developing custom data models and process mining scripts to meet specific business needs.
• Help manage real-time data synchronization for ongoing process monitoring and analysis.

Data Integration & ETL Skills:

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Familiarity with ETL processes to pull data from various systems, clean, and transform it for analysis within Celonis EMS.
• SQL: Strong foundational knowledge in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Python (Basic): Basic knowledge of Python for data preprocessing, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Data Models: Understanding how to design and create data models in Celonis to structure and optimize the data for process mining.
• APIs: Familiarity with integrating data from external systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle) via REST APIs or other integration methods.

Celonis Solution Development

• Work on configuring Celonis Dashboards, Execution Apps, and KPIs to provide real-time insights into key business processes.
• Support the configuration of Celonis Action Engine and workflow automations to trigger alerts or actions based on process data.
• Help integrate Celonis EMS with automation platforms like UiPath, Power Automate, and Automation Anywhere to enhance efficiency.

Data Visualization & Reporting Tools:

• Tableau: Experience in creating interactive data visualizations and dashboards for business users.
• Power BI: Basic experience in creating interactive reports and dashboards to represent process mining data insights.
• Celonis Dashboards & KPI Development: Knowledge of developing dashboards in Celonis, creating KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for monitoring business performance.

Automation - Preferred

• Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Familiarity with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Power Automate for automating repetitive tasks based on process mining insights.
• Automation Scripts: Knowledge of how to create basic automation workflows to improve business process efficiency.
• Action Engine in Celonis: Understanding of Celonis’ Action Engine for setting up automated actions based on process mining analysis, like sending alerts or triggering changes.

Continuous Learning & Growth

• Stay updated on the latest developments in Celonis EMS, process mining technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of process mining concepts and tools like Celonis EMS, Variant Explorer, and Conformance Checker.
• Familiarity with SQL and data integration tasks. Exposure to other programming languages like Python is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
• Interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is a bonus.
