WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for reporting directly to the Marketing Director, Mobile Marketing New Computing & Mobile Enhancements to craft strategy and own execution for Galaxy Buds that help the Marketing organization operate efficiently and effectively and contribute to the attainment of business goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Owns and champions Galaxy Buds marketing strategies & activations within the Mobile Division.
- Identifies market opportunities and go-to-market strategies for Mobile.
- Drives the implementation of the strategy through a formal brief presented to key internal and external stakeholders in order to develop a detailed tactical and KPI measurement plan.
- Establishes a formal and frequent cadence of reporting results through the development of a KPI dashboard and live meeting forum for key projects.
- On-going optimization of the plan to maximize ROI and shift financial resources into tactics that are delivering expected business results.
- Serve as the nexus that connects together key stakeholders within the marketing organization both locally and globally; with non-marketing cross-functional teams; agency partners; and business leadership. Foster collaboration to create an integrated and coordinate marketing execution of strategy.
- Serve as the overall marketing expert of organization and competitor product portfolios, go-to-market and marketing strategy to help the team develop industry leading marketing strategy.
- Drive the creation of a shared reality within the marketing organization by providing a regular overview of the business goals, market situation, brand and competitor product portfolios, target consumer personas, customer context (carriers and retailers), and competitor marketing playbooks.
Required Experience and Education:
- MBA preferred with 2-4 years of experience in marketing, business strategy, or product marketing (Bachelors Degree required).
- Ideal experience spans across a wide variety of examples up to and including, Sport franchises, music, celebrities, lifestyle, and luxury as well digital-first brands/apps.
- Experience in the mobile space, specifically mobile consumer hardware and software and how they work together.
