Position Overview: The Director, Talent Acquisition & HR Systems will lead Worldpac’s recruiting strategy and HR technology platforms. Systems currently within scope of this role include Workday, iCIMS, our applicant tracking system (ATS), HR’s ticket and knowledge management in ServiceNow and a to-be-determined lifecycle survey provider. This role will be responsible for developing talent acquisition programs that attract top talent while ensuring HR systems are optimized to enhance employee experience, data integrity, and business operations. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with expertise in talent acquisition, HR technology, and process automation. This role will also serve as a strategic leader in the application of AI in our talent acquisition and HR systems functions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain top talent in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
- Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition specialists, ensuring a high-performance and data-driven hiring process.
- Oversee executive recruitment, workforce planning, employer branding, and implementation of AI in hiring initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders and HR teams to understand hiring needs and create innovative sourcing strategies.
- Drive process improvements and automation within the hiring lifecycle to improve candidate and hiring manager experiences.
- Monitor key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- HR Systems & Technology Management
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Workday, iCIMS, ServiceNow for HR and a TBD employee lifecycle survey provider.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and external vendors to ensure HR systems are effectively integrated and meet business needs.
- Enhance system functionality, streamline processes using workflows and AI, and improve user experience for employees and HR teams.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and security across all HR systems.
- Lead HR systems upgrades, implementations, and vendor relationships to improve automation and efficiency.
- Employee Experience & Analytics
- Utilize HR technology and data analytics to provide insights on hiring trends, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Leverage lifecycle surveys to measure employee experience and retention, providing actionable recommendations.
- Develop and deliver HR dashboards and reporting tools for leadership to track talent and operational effectiveness.
- Compliance & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Ensure compliance with local, federal, and international employment laws related to hiring and HR data management.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and IT to align talent acquisition and HR technology with company goals.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on HR technology trends, recruitment best practices, and workforce analytics.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree ideally in a business or IT-related field. Master’s degree is helpful but not required.
- 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HR systems leadership. At least 5 years leading a team.
- Experience managing HR technology platforms such as Workday, ATS (iCIMS, Greenhouse, etc.), and employee survey tools.
- Proven success in hiring for high-volume, corporate, and executive roles in a multi-country environment.
- Expertise in data-driven recruitment, workforce analytics, and HR process automation.
- Familiarity with U.S., Canadian, and Puerto Rican labor laws and data privacy regulations.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive change, process improvements, and HR technology adoption.Strong business case development skills, particularly in reflecting pricing in product adoption and commercial plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Pay Range
