The Sales Strategy at Worldpac Inc focuses on building long-term relationships with key customers and senior executives to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share. Our team of experienced sales professionals uses a consultative approach to sell the Worldpac Inc value proposition, developing individual account goals and business plans with customers.

Our Business Development efforts are centered around analyzing sales data to identify new customer accounts and making informed recommendations regarding product/service terms to maximize sales and profits. We employ a standardized qualification process to gather information about accounts, identify decision makers, understand business challenges and priorities of customers, and analyze data to prioritize opportunities critical to accounts.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic accounts, building relationships with key customers and senior executives, and growing sales, profitability, and market share. You will also develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for key accounts.

In this role, you will work closely with the marketing department to develop proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity, with accountability for meeting/exceeding sales targets. You will also ensure professional sales coordination and account planning and resolve possible account ownership issues.

Key responsibilities include:
* Managing strategic accounts and building relationships with key customers and senior executives.
* Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for key accounts.
* Analyzing sales data to identify new customer accounts and making informed recommendations regarding product/service terms to maximize sales and profits.
* Employing a standardized qualification process to gather information about accounts, identify decision makers, understand business challenges and priorities of customers, and analyze data to prioritize opportunities critical to accounts.
* Selling the Worldpac Inc value proposition using a consultative sales process, developing individual account goals and business plans with customers.
* Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with customers and senior management to understand their needs and link them to Worldpac Inc product/service strategies.
* Working cross-functionally with the marketing department to develop proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity, with accountability for meeting/exceeding sales targets.
* Ensuring professional sales coordination and account planning and resolving possible account ownership issues.
* Coordinating with the Marketing, Supply Chain, Credit, Finance, and Operations Departments to maximize communication and program execution.
* Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Commercial Sales Managers and Commercial Account Managers to deliver effective sales support at the field level; providing local leadership to drive sales success through a disciplined approach to program implementation.
* Assisting with the training and development of the broader Commercial Sales organization.
