Overview
The Principal Security Engineer will administrator and manager Expel MDR and CrowdStrike, vulnerability assessments and follow through on remediation using Tenable, and strengthen cloud and endpoint security. This role involves SOC operations, incident response, IAM governance, threat detection, and cyber risk management. Strong analytical and collaboration skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and continuous enhancement of Expel MDR and CrowdStrike for advanced threat detection, response, and incident management.
- Collaborate with Expel MDR to monitor security events, leveraging SOC and Security Incident Response (SIR) processes.
- Oversee the organization's vulnerability management program using Tenable, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and remediation tracking.
- Detect and prevent cyber threats by analyzing Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and Indicators of Behavior (IOBs).
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across software and systems, working closely with IT teams using a risk-based approach.
- Implement and manage endpoint and network security to protect against cyber threats and data exfiltration.
- Support identity and access management (IAM) initiatives, ensuring secure user access to technology resources.
- Drive strategic cybersecurity initiatives, strengthening the organization's overall security posture.
- Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect applications and data, integrating security into the development lifecycle.

USD $138,000.00 - USD $174,000.00 / Yr.
