Industry: Furniture, accessory, and lighting designer for high end wholesale company engaged in design and distribution.
Responsibilities: We are actively seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented, and hands-on Financial Accounting Manager to join our team. This role requires strong accounting expertise and the ability to manage financial operations effectively. Accounting functions are performed and customized in a NetSuite ERP system and with intermediate Excel skills.
- Collect, analyze, reconcile, prepare, and maintain accounting data through financial statements.
- Maintain accounting integrity within our tailored accounting and inventory programs. Close attention to detail. Recent conversion to NetSuite ERP
- Work closely with team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding balances with professional and progressive communications.
- Preform financial analysis using advanced excel skills.
- Create and maintain timely financial reports.
- Perform related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
- This is an ON-SITE position.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting field is required.
- Five years’ current experience with financial statement responsibilities
- Strong technical accounting skills and solid knowledge of GAAP.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel (look up functions, pivot tables, macros, spreadsheet analysis)
- Ability to follow and establish processes and procedures to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Requisites for success in this position include being self-motivated, critical thinking, detailed oriented, focused, personable, organized, and highly dependable.
- Experience in accounting desktop and cloud based ERP systems.
- General knowledge and ability to build Reports and Workflows.
- CPA designation is a plus
