What the Sales Development Account Manager, Level 3 does at Worldwide
The Sales Development Account Manager, Level 3 plays a critical role in helping the organization achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by engaging with prospective clients and internal stakeholders to build an effective new business pipeline, alongside their Colleagues and Mentors. You will have maintained a sustained level of performance as a Level 2 Sales Development Account Manager and will be looking to take the next step in your career. You will be receiving foundational Business Development and/or Management training and will be supported by Commercial Leadership to help balance your Sales Development Account Manager responsibilities with your Business Development or Managerial learning and development responsibilities. As part of your continued learning and development, you may also be called upon to coach and mentor peers.

What the Sales Development Account Manager, Level 3 does at Worldwide
The Sales Development Account Manager, Level 3 plays a critical role in helping the organization achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by engaging with prospective clients and internal stakeholders to build an effective new business pipeline, alongside their Colleagues and Mentors. What You Will Do
- Partner with Business Development to tackle territory targets and goals and Marketing to understand and leverage their initiatives
- Source new sales opportunities for your Business Development partners through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting
- Partner with your Business Development partner(s) post meeting/call to determine results of such meetings and appropriate next steps to close the loop or move the opportunity forward
- Co-manage sales territories and develop territory plans and a strategy with your Business Development partner(s) in order to achieve new customer and revenue growth targets
- Expand client requests upselling for business unit when possible
- Participate in and support Bid Defense Preparation as appropriate.
- Deep experience with CRM and strive to leverage other selling technology and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information on calls and via email
- Drive and determination to succeed as well as meet and exceed targets and quotas
- Must be adaptable, professional and motivated and understand the sales cycle
- Ability to listen and identify pain points and customer challenges
- Proficiency in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years insides sales and/or sales development experience – including experience in developing new business, lead nurturing and qualification, prospecting and appointment setting
- CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred including knowledge of Phase I-IV clinical research and development
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Sales Development Account Manager, Level 2 within Worldwide demonstrating proficiency in internal sales development processes
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM and sales automation tools
