IT Systems Engineer

WorldWide Electric, a leading distributor and manufacturer of electric motors and controls, is looking for a motivated and experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in tackling various IT challenges while designing, implementing, and managing state-of-the-art technology solutions across our diverse technical landscape. Reporting directly to the Computer / Network Support Manager, you will promote a professional work environment that emphasizes exceptional customer care and urgency in resolving technology issues. This role will involve both help desk responsibilities and project work, adapting to the needs of our organization. Occasional travel to other WorldWide Electric locations and some off-hours work may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding IT and technology support to WorldWide Electric users.
• Implement and manage backup technologies, including disaster recovery and replication solutions like Veeam.
• Administer Microsoft Enterprise Management Tools such as Intune, EntraID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Exchange Online.
• Design and manage infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple locations.
• Align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues effectively.
• Adhere to security best practices and system hardening protocols.
• Manage IT and technology assets across various locations.
• Escalate issues as necessary and maintain service level agreements through our ticketing system.
• Be prepared for scheduled off-hour project work as directed by your supervisor.
