This is a highly rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and excellent customer service. As a Heavy Duty Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on heavy and medium-duty vehicles at various locations away from the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy and medium-duty vehicles
- Diagnose problems using OE software and other means
- Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs
- Perform mechanical repairs of vehicle components
- Validate repairs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage parts inventory and maintain equipment according to company standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A college degree or certificate/degree from a trade school is preferred but not required
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Must pass MVR check and have or be able to acquire a Minimum class B CDL endorsement
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
