We are currently seeking an experienced Tow Truck Installation & Service Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Tow Truck Installation and Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing accessories and equipment, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of tow trucks, wreckers, and specialty vehicles. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, with an eye for detail, familiar with truck electrical and hydraulic systems. Experience in the use of welding equipment, torches, and a background in truck repair is a plus. You must be comfortable working independently, performing in a fast-paced environment, and delivering high-quality work while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on tow trucks and wreckers.
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabricating tasks using torches and welding machines as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other truck components.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality, timely repairs.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure all work meets company safety standards and industry regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing workloads.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a heavy-duty tow truck technician, mechanic, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks.
• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and using cutting torches.
• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
• CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not required.
