What are the responsibilities and job description for the DETAIL TECHNICIAN position at Worldwide Equipment?
POSITION SUMMARY
Cleans and refurbishes new and used vehicles. Cleans vehicles before and / or after body work and mechanical reconditioning is performed. Conforms to dealership and / or manufacturer specifications and time allowances. CDL License preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs. Wax, polish and buff exterior body panels including chrome. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris. Steam clean interiors. Steam clean engine compartment and exterior. Follow company safety guidelines. Report safety issues to management. Operate all equipment in a safe manner. Keeps work space neat and clean. Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
- Reports to Detail Shop Foreman

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals Task oriented Attention to detail
