Role Overview
As an Air Logistics Warehouse Agent with Worldwide Flight Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cargo handling processes. This involves moving and sorting small packages by hand and pushcart from containers inside the warehouse to semi-trucks operating in an open-air environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading package containers using manual labor and pushcarts
- Removing tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
- Sorting, scanning, and moving small packages within the warehouse
- Operating package handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts)
- Verifying air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents in accordance with air safety and security guidelines
Responsibilities and Requirements
To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You should also be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
Additionally, you will need to possess the following physical abilities:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and travel long distances across facilities on foot
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
