Responsibilities
- Design and layout electrical systems and products
- Develop electrical schematics and single line diagrams
- Interpret client and project manager requirements
- Ensure all designs are up to code and follow safety standards
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment
- Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems
