- Worldwide Retail Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes and coordinating with customers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. The role requires orders, and shipping procedures, and a solid understanding of B2B billing platforms such as Oracle, Ariba, and Procor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage billing information using ERP systems.
- Coordinate with customers to create and confirm billing details, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize B2B billing systems such as Oracle, Ariba, and Procor to receive orders, upload invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, shipping) to ensure seamless order processing and billing.
- Track and manage invoice discrepancies, working directly with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions, payments, and customer communications.
- Ensure all invoices are uploaded and processed in a timely manner.
- Monitor payment status and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance roles, preferably in a retail or B2B environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, sales orders, shipping processes, and invoicing.
- Experience with B2B billing platforms such as Oracle, Ariba, and Procor is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and billing procedures.
