WORLEY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS seeks a licensed senior architect for a long-term relationship with significant opportunity for advancement. The firm has a 46-year history of successful practice that includes numerous business, governmental, educational and university clients. Our staff also has expertise in the design of facilities for corporate headquarters, production and warehouse facilities, and non-profits as well as exceptional capabilities in recreation, wellness and sports facilities.

Additionally, our firm ensures Senior Architects stay involved with their projects from initial concepts through final construction administration. Possession of good communication and project management skills, a flexible and congenial attitude, and the ability to solve problems creatively while also building strong client relationships are desired capabilities.
Primary responsibilities:
- develop written proposals and participate with fee negotiations
- prepare design concepts, drawings and client presentations
- maintain open communication with clients and provide guidance throughout projects
- attend construction site visits, field reviews and progress meetings; document as needed
- prepare and/or review minutes for consultant coordination meetings
What you’ll need:
- architectural license
- 12-15 years (minimum) of professional practice experience
- strong design and communications skills; spoken, written, and graphic
- effective time management skills to work on multiple projects within concurrent deadlines
- advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, accessibility guidelines and Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes
- knowledge of building codes and ability to research and incorporate into documents
- advanced knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines
- USGBC LEED accreditation is a plus
- proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office required
- experience in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suites preferred
