This is a temporary, remote position, in Prudhoe Bay, with an expected duration of 6 weeks, with the potential for additional work scope to be added. Anticipated start date is late February 2025. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided.

Job Purpose :
Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and insulation systems.
Essential Job Functions :
- Determines project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and insulation products and equipment, such as piping weld kits, pipe fittings, module penetrations, and exterior, module ventilation hoods, casings according to job order or blueprints.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, bending rolls and punch and drill presses to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.
- Fastens seams and joints together with bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
- Installs and inspects individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications and codes, using measuring instruments.
- Lays out, measures, and marks dimensions and reference lines on material.
- Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts.
- Touches up paint on walls or other structural surfaces.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions.
