Transportation Specialist (Driver)

Worry-Free Transportation is a transportation company based in Waterford, MI for 25 years. We are looking for serious drivers in the Oakland County area who are compassionate about transporting individuals who are non-ambulatory (wheelchair confined) to and from their scheduled destination. This position resembles a school bus type of route that includes 2 to 4 hours of unpaid downtime per day; however you are able to get full time hours. Local candidates are preferred. Qualifications for this position are:

• Valid Michigan Chauffeur License
• Must pass Substance and Criminal History Screenings
• No more than 2 points on your driving record in the past 2 years.
• No 50% or more at fault accidents in the past 5 years.
• Minimum 23 years of age or 2 years professional driving experience.
• Must be punctual and dependable with good customer service skills.
• Compensation is $14.50-$15.00 per hour (depending on level of experience).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with passengers.
• Maintain a valid Chauffeurs License and adhere to all driving regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
• Proficient at navigating the GPS-Phone to efficiently arrive to destination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
