Job Title: Service Dispatcher
Job Summary: The Service Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching service technicians to customer locations for maintenance, repairs, installations, and inspections. This role involves managing schedules, communicating with customers, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and Dispatch: Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to customer sites based on service requests and predetermined schedules.
Installation Scheduling: Plan and schedule installation appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
Inspection Coordination: Schedule and manage routine inspections as part of maintenance services.
Customer Communication: Maintain contact with customers to provide updates on service status, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work Order Management: Prepare and manage work orders, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded and communicated to technicians.
Monitor Progress: Track the progress of service calls, installations, and inspections, ensuring timely completion and addressing any delays.
Inventory Management: Ensure technicians have the necessary tools and parts for service calls, installations, and inspections, coordinating with stock clerks as needed.
Issue Resolution: Expedite operations that delay response or repair times, and resolve any issues that arise during service calls, installations, or inspections.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, inspections, customer interactions, and technician activities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, proficiency in using dispatch software and systems.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Adobe documents, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and willingness to train in company software "D-Tools."
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in dispatching or customer service is a plus.
Location: Must be local to Mansfield, TX. Commuting employees will not be considered for this position.
Salary:
Competitive salary range between $34,283 and $52,748 per year, with an average annual salary of $45,606.
Hourly rates range from $15.91 to $22.16, with an average of $20.52 per hour.
